Watch Us Live

Come and see us play your favorite songs live.  8LivesDown has been busy this summer expanding our set lists and playing several venues and private parties.  We get together every week to work on our songs and we are always adding new material, so if there is a song that you would love to hear us play.  Let us know!

  • We play hits from the 60’s through today.

  • We currently play in the Twin Cities and surrounding communities.

  • Contact Elysium Music for booking your event. (651) 270-4124

A great night in Prior Lake – the Wild’s Block Party was a memorable event!  We had a great sit in performance from one of the locals, Brett Kohler between our sets, and we did an impromptu version of Simple Man for the crowd.  Brett was great, and the crowd was rowdy and fun! Loved playing here!

We had a great time playing at Stacked Deck Brewing – it’s a beautiful location with some spectacular new micro brews.

Make Music is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.

Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours onto streets, parks, plazas, and porches to share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public.

Our first time playing at Wayzata Brew Works!  A great night on the shores of Lake Minnetonka – it was a beautiful night!

The Hootenanny is an annual event held in Hastings MN at different times of the year to help raise funds for Hastings middle school music programs and local youth musicians.  We had a great time getting our spring start at the Depot.  A half-hour quick session taught us a lot about fast setup and tear-down.  We had a great time!

“Lean your body forward slightly to support the guitar against your chest, for the poetry of the music should resound in your heart.”
